Project Specialist

We are looking for a skilled professional for a fixed-term contract until the end of 2028. The role will start as a part-time position with a 70% workload. However, a full-time position is possible depending on application decisions for other projects.

Your primary role will be as project manager for the Horizon-funded NPower project, which will run from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2028 and involve 24 organizations across Europe. The project aims to identify effective and feasible best practices for reducing nitrogen and phosphorus emissions in agricultural, coastal, urban, and industrial environments.

As a Project Specialist, you will manage the project for your organization and act as an expert in all project work packages.

The post requires experience in Horizon projects and a University or University of Applied Sciences degree with expertise in nitrogen and phosphorus emissions in agriculture. Excellent knowledge of English and fluent Finnish, willingness to travel in Finland and abroad, and flexibility in working hours are important. An understanding of research and agricultural policy is also desirable.

The full-time salary for this position is between 3,700 and 4,200 euros per month, depending on your skills and experience. As the position is 70% part-time, the salary will be adjusted accordingly. We also provide a well-being benefit and comprehensive occupational health care.
