Satakunta
The region of Satakunta is a well-situated region with a rich natural and cultural environment. The capital of the region is located in Pori. Satakunta hosts a seaport, and two UNESCO heritage sites. It is also an important energy hub, which generates about a quarter of all country’s electricity.
Satakunta is one of the most valuable agricultural regions of Finland, well known for its rye, barley, potato, and sugar beet.
