Uusimaa or Nyland is the most populated region of Finland with the largest city and capital of the country – Helsinki. 

The larger part of agricultural production is mostly concentrated in the Greater Helsinki area due to the high level of urbanization and industrialization of the region. Uusimaa is a center of the region’s open field crop and potato farming, and significant dairy production point.
