Pohjanmaa
Pohjanmaa, also Österbotten, and Ostrobothnia is a bilingual coastal region and home to the UNESCO World Heritage Site - Kvarken Archipelago. The regional center is located in the coastal city of Vaasa.
A large portion of the country's commonly eaten vegetables, like tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers are grown in greenhouses of the region. Ostrobothnia is also known for its pig farms and potatoes fields.
