Experience the Finnish summer and participate in the strawberry season!

We are looking for five energetic and hard-working employees to pick strawberries in the open field for the season 2025. Work tasks include strawberry picking and other tasks related to strawberry care, such as cutting rows.

The harvest season can be estimated to start after midsummer, but it depends on when the strawberries are ripe and ready to pick. Depending on the weather, we work for about 4 - 5 weeks. We hope you commit to the entire picking season. The work starts at dawn and continues according to the needs and conditions. We value flexibility so that we can take care of our customers.

You have to speak Finnish or English at a level where you can manage in everyday work. The harvest season is a tight crunch. Teamwork is emphasized, and everyone helps each other. The importance of teamwork skills is essential.

You don't need to have previous strawberry-picking experience. However, it is advantageous if you have previously done similar tasks and are familiar with agriculture. Strawberry picking is a job where you are constantly moving and requires precision. You do your job best if you are physically fit and have nimble fingers.

Remuneration mainly consists of contract wages. At the beginning and end of the picking season, when the amount of ripe berries is not yet at its peak, an hourly wage is paid. 

The farm is in Etelä-Savo on Mäntyharju, about 200 kilometers from Helsinki. It is easy to get to Mäntyharju via the highway or by train. Accommodation is in a house located on the farm with rooms for 1 to 2 people. Residents take care of household chores themselves. The cost of housing is 10 euros per week.
