Beekeeper

We are seeking a beekeeper for an approximately three-month fixed-term contract in the summer of 2025. The main working months are June, July, and August, but there is flexibility in the starting and ending dates. The work could potentially continue until mid-September. The position is located in Eura, and we are looking for one competent person.

The duties of the beekeeper include managing and monitoring beehives, harvesting honey, and processing it. The job also involves handling supplies, feeding the bees, and maintaining the apiary environment. It requires physical fitness as it involves lifting heavy boxes of honey and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Applicants should have previous experience in beekeeping, a basic knowledge of beekeeping practices, and be able to work independently. You should have the language skills to communicate with the entrepreneur to ensure the smooth running of the job. The working language will therefore be Finnish or English.

Remuneration is determined by the Collective Agreement for Rural Industries (MTA).
