The traditional Kivikko Farm is located in Hämeenlinna, Tavastia Proper, and has mainly focused on milk production. The farm has a tiestall cattle barn and about 90 dairy cows. As a certified "Valio" quality dairy farm, the farm meets the quality requirements for farm environment, training, animal welfare and milk quality.

The farm is now looking for two new farm workers to join its professional team.

Duties include milking, looking after the health and welfare of cows and other tasks related to cattle care.

The first person will be mainly responsible for milking and calf care. Milking is carried out in a tiestall cattle barn with eight MilkMaster units running on rails on the roof. The second person is mainly responsible for feeding the cows, making TMR (total mixed ratio), moving the animals and cleaning the animal stalls. He also uses a tractor, a small loader and a bucket loader, so he must be familiar with the use of these equipments. The job is ideal for a couple!

We are looking for motivated, English-speaking people with some experience of working on a dairy farm. We expect employees to be committed to the job and enjoy working for the good of the animals.

The working week and job duties are clear. The working day is split into two parts: 5.30-9.30 and 15.30-19.30. The work is carried out together with the farm's host and hostess, initially under supervision and later independently.

Work starts as soon as possible with a good orientation. There is a six-month trial period for permanent positions. Salaries are in accordance with the Collective Agreement for Rural Industries (TES), category 3. In addition, we offer work-related accommodation in a two-room farmhouse on the lakeside.
