Juha and Jaana – the pig farming entrepreneurs are looking for a permanent and long-term employee to take care of 500 pigs.
Completed in 2012, the production facilities are equipped with modern technologies, therefore the welfare of the animals is important and taken into account. The farm collaborates with Atria Oy as a hybrid producer.
The primary criterion for the employee is reliability and some experience to be able to take care of breeding sow pregnancy and do basic tasks related to the care for the animals.
We require you to have previous experience with similar tasks so that you understand what’s the day-to-day routine of the pig farm. Knowledge of Finnish or at least intermediate English is essential for this job. We also value motivation and a desire to learn new things, as well as a positive attitude to work. We hope you easily get along well with both humans and animals. Managing simple maintenance work is also considered an advantage.
It is a permanent position, and usually, work lasts from 7:00 to 15:00. The work starts by an agreement and the salary is negotiable according to the employee’s experience. The employer provides housing in a three-room house with a sauna.
